This includes animals locked in vehicles without proper ventilation or water, left for long periods of time without food or water, left in unsafe or unsanitary conditions, animals tied up on short leashes without access to exercise properly, witnessing animal beatings, animals with unhealed sores that are not being attended to, and pet abandonment. If you think there may be a problem, please do not hesitate to contact animal control. It is better to err on the side of caution than to have a defenseless animal die from neglect.
