Mission Statement Of The Mt. Shasta City Firefighter's Assn
To support the Mt. Shasta City Fire Department and its' mission, while developing and maintaining a quality relationship with the community.
Purpose
- To hold fundraising functions in support of the Mt. Shasta City Firefighters Association, the community, and it's mission.
- To enhance community support.
- To promote morale.
- To foster good relations with the community, local businesses, and the Mt. Shasta City Fire Department.
- To recruit and retain association members and firefighters.
- To provide logistical support for the Mt. Shasta City Fire Department as needed, emergency and non-emergency.
- To operate and conduct itself in an utmost professional manner; to reflect positively on the community of Mt. Shasta and the Mt. Shasta City Fire Department.
Everyone is welcome to join. All you need is a sincere interest in the Mt. Shasta City Fire Department and a desire to give back to the community. Our meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm at alternating locations in Mt. Shasta.
Association Fund Raising Events
Proceeds from our fund raisers, after expenses, go entirely to support the Mt. Shasta City Firefighter's. In 2010/2011 the Fire Association was able to assist the Mt. Shasta City Fire Department with funding of:
